Dash Cameras for Fleet Vehicles

I use a company called SAMSARA for our ELD's and front and rear facing cameras. The cameras have worked well, although you probably do not want to see what your drivers are doing.

As a driver, I had a love/ hate for cameras.

My company used them to punish drivers for petty stuff... I agree, phone in hand is serious, along with other serious violations.

But to punish for taking a drink of water is dumb.

Pretty sure I would turn in my company ride and just charge them mileage before I let them watch me and listen to all my conversations. Seems like a huge invasion of privacy but I also understand there vehicles there rules.
