We went after a solo calf I spotted yesterday in a dry creek and we bumped 3 cows. 3 shooters…3 cows.

Shot was 100 yards off hand frontal. She ran 40 yards and couldnt make it out of the dry creek. I put one in her neck for good measure.

My first elk kill. Now the work begins.
