Nilgai 2022!
These critters are some of the toughest I have ever encountered. The ranch I work at has some. I guided a fellow who shot a big bull with his compound. There was a broadhead hole all the way thru the biggest part of the heart. At the shot the bull ran off just out of sight. We sat in the blind and listened to him moan for 26 minutes!!!!! I would have bet $100 that no animal could live for that long with a hole thru it’s heart if I hadn’t witnessed it myself. Now, if someone shoots one, we won’t get out of the blind for an hour, and won’t go try to track it for at least 2hrs!!!!!
