I am allergic to the hair/dander. If I don't wet the deer down before cleaning it i will be needing benadryl within 30 min...washing them down solves most of my issue

I take a Zyrtec and hit them with a hose before skinning and I have to do 30-40 a year. Horse hair is way worse and best that I stay away from them.

A fellow on our lease has a daughter with the exact same issue. I think she’s able to be around the deer but if she disturbs the hair it will get to her.
