Asking for prayers for my Father in Law, Lynn, who has has been in the hospital since Christmas in and out of ICU fighting covid. He had a rough night last night and needs lots of prayers for strength to get through this. Also prayers for the medical staff working on him as well as for my wife and her family.

On Sunday they put a chest tube in to try to drain fluid off his lungs and that night his o2 levels crashed as did his blood pressure. They had to intubate him and put him on a ventilator. That is when things got really scary.

No big changes overnight. My wife and her mom are on the way up to the hospital now so maybe we will have some more info a little later.

We really appreciate all the prayers.

Update: great news they have been slowly reducing the sedation meds and he is awake and alert. He is still on the ventilator but breathing mostly on his own. They want to start weaning him off the ventilator soon too. Also they did an X-ray of his lungs and they look much better now. He still has a long road ahead but things are looking up. Thank you all so much for all the prayers. They really do mean a lot.
