I emailed vortex three years ago to discuss the white out issue on the viper line of scopes. Basically you buy a $600 scope and can’t use it near sunset due to it whiting out. He said yes we know they do that nothing we can do, if you don’t want the white out buy a razor. I told him my $300 leupold vx1 didn’t do it. That was the last time I ever bought anything with vortex on it.
