Me neither. I messed up and lost a gray fox once after accidentally nocking the wrong arrow for a follow up shot. Lesson learned.

5 arrow quiver, 4 arrows, leave the middle slot open.

              I always carry 3 because I don’t want to skin 4 animals

Pay attention, he asked about a quiver not a bow

I actually hunted all last weekend with only one arrow because I left my quiver at my other lease. I ended up killing two does with that arrow.

5 - one or two have crappy old broadheads on em for what ever needs to be shot

5 - I hunt public and I've had trips where I get to my spot and only have 1 or 2 arrows left after crashing through trails a couple miles to get where I'm going. I also had to stick an Aoudad 3 times once and I was clean out at the time as I only carried 3 back then.

I've doubled up twice in the last few years. So I'll have one just in case I miss or need to take a follow-up shot.

                            5 because I have a 5 arrow quiver.

5 because that is how many my quiver will hold. 2 exclusively for whitetail, 2 for whitetail or pigs(expandables) and 1 for coons or other critters.

6, because that's how many it holds. First thing I do in the stand is hang the quiver on a nail. I tend to carry three sharp broadheads and one dull one, and two field points.

It has happened that I've needed a second arrow a time or two. I also usually take practice shots with the field points before I get out of the stand.
