I did not lose my sense of smell or taste. But, I did have a confirmed case of the Vid in August of 2020. So, it could be due to that fact. I did lose my smell/taste with the infection in August.

The person I got tested because they were positive also did not lose his smell or taste. This was his first time being infected with Covid and he is double vaxxed.

Data shows that loss of taste & smell is not prevalent with Omicron, its more cold-like...but then again the modeling that said Omicron was going to completely take over quickly was apparently flawed as well b/c we still have a lot of Delta out there which you lose taste & smell with. Omicron also appears to affect upper respiratory instead of deep lung which is much better than Alpha & Delta

No. I quit taking any extra vitamins after I got the Vid back in August of 2020 and acquired my natural immunity.

Yours sounds like it's the Delta variety and not Omicron.

I also wanted to add that my Daughter brought home Flu right before Thanksgiving and holy moly.... We all fought that one off for 2 weeks solid. Every symptom was 10x as intense as any Covid I've had.


That stuff was WAYYYY worse than my run with Alpha or Omicron.
