    heatilator fireplace question

My wife and I had a house built and put a heatilator constitution wood burning fireplace in. I have never used a fireplace like this before and they say they are great but I am seeing if anyone on the green screen has one or has used one before that can give me some tips or suggestions on using it or their opinion of it.

    thanks in advance

Constitution EPA Phase II compliant woodburning fireplace from Heatilator.

We don’t have that same unit as yours. But something similar.

The Montpelier II wood insert highlights large, unobstructed views of the flames, turning your existing masonry fireplace into an efficient centerpiece.

We love ours, it’s insanely more efficient than an open fire. But you give up the atmosphere of an open fire.

I am not sure what brand mine is it was installed when the house was built in 1984. I love it, just get a good hot fire going and turn on the blower. Mine sucks cold are from the floor and circulates into the house from to vents under the mantle. Keeps my family room plenty toasty.
