2016 Suburban LT shocks/struts which ones?

LT 2wd non magnetic and non air ride

What’s out there that is better than factory? I want to maintain the same ride so stiff bilsteins are out!

We also travel down 6 miles of washboard gravel road 3-4 times a week ( 15 mph tops)

    Any ideas?

Bilstein 5100s. They are not stiff and are a HUGE improvement over stock ride.

The crappy ranchos are what you want to avoid.

      5100’s are for lifted!
4600’s ( yellow) for standard height!

They are pretty darned stiff in comparison to stock ( according to Bilstein)

Wrong. 5100s are adjustable from standard height to two inches over stock for front.

I’ve put them on two different chevys. One small model type as yours. They greatly improve the handling and provide a much better ride than stock.

I think you’re reading too much into spring/compression rates. Go to any Chevy forum and ask this question. 5100s are the way to go without breaking the bank.

Do 50 mph. You will skip across the top of the washboard and will be smooth enough to sip hot coffee from a mug!

            You're welcome.

I don’t know what to tell you bud. I’ve done all the research and install-twice. Including on the same model as yours.

Fronts are adjustable and use a clip to set your front ride height from stock to up to 2” over stock. I believe there are 8 different possible ride height settings. Rears are not adjustable and are for vehicles with 0-1” of lift(in rear). They also have some for lifted trucks that I believe are for 2-6” of lift.

Like I said: go to any Chevy forum and ask this question. Read how people talk about their ride after replacing stock with 5100s. Or you can choose to believe that thousands of people who’ve already done it don’t have a clue what they’re talking about.
