Try The Hideout on the lake. Not sure if dining is open on Tuesday though. They have some weird hours but best food in the area.

I live in Brownwood. I would stay away from La Bontana, their customer service stinks. I would say Studebakers, the Runaway Train is excellent as well. If you go to the lake Corninas has great mexican food or if you want BBQ stop at Smittys.

After that i skip to prima pasta or good ole chilis.
