I went with a set of 400 gram Meindl's for a late season NM elk hunt this year.
After lots of research I settled on these for thier stiff uppers providing additional support in the mountains. I really loved that part and the warmth . Their a tag heavy for long walks but it's a safety and comfort trade off especially after a long sit glassing in the cold.
What I also learned is most any quality insulated boot will work but what most of us neglect is socks. I went with a sock liner and high quality mid and heavy weight socks from darn tuff. We had lows in the mid 20s warning to the 50s with no snow. I never needed the heavy weight but can see a use for them while sitting in a blind.
As mentioned above, you have to straighten your legs, stretch and move about. Even if it's a tiny bit from inside the blind, it helps!

I wear varying thicknesses of Darn Tough merino wool socks, up to three pairs. I don't understand why people think they need to layer everywhere but on their feet, head, and hands. Darn toughs are the most comfortable socks I have ever worn.
I have a pair of uninsulated Danner Pronghorns and a pair of uninsulated Crispi Wyomings that have been good hunting down to about 12 degrees with the correct amount of socks.
