Slump? That's my middle name this year. I've has my azz handed to me big time. I've only been 3 or 4 times this year, and this last week was a 3 day run with family and I left scratching my head.

This morning was slow. Slipped in water about 530 and got out about 7. Caught a grand total of 4 trout and only 1 that was over 17 and a red about 30 inches. Bait was slim. May go Monday and try some mid bay reefs. Thought I had em figured out. Not sure what changed but it did

Time, tide, barometric pressure, fishing pressure, water temps, bait, moon phase, solunar. Lots of factors.

What resource are you guys using for your local tides and major&minors.

Tides4fishing.com is what I use. And the NOAA for tide levels. Hope that helps.

Headed out to acess 4. My son has never caught a shark and has been asking me daily all year to go for one. A small window opened up today (cost me sending the wife away to the outlets with a credit card) He would be happy woth just a 1" shark if the sea gods can just grant us one.

Should be able to catch one. We fished with the surf rods Father’s Day Sunday in Sargent. I bet we caught 30-40 2-3’ blacktips. The small ones should be plenty thick.

Laguna was a zoo today caught our 6 trout and 2 flounder found 2 schools of drum but couldn’t get them to eat

Fishing tomorrow. The water level at rockport is crazy low tonight. Hope some water finds its way back into the system at some point this summer.
