How long did it take you to trust your saddle? I’m on my first full sit in mine and am still nervous. I’m comfortable just keep remembering that I’m trusting this thing with my life.

I've had to let a lot of guys go, because they can never learn to trust the equipment.

I'm speaking to cell tower work, where guys hang in a harness from steel or a rope while working.
Pretty much the same thing, we're just a little higher.

Also, some trees you just can’t trust. Pick a good tree and use the saddle properly and you will be fine. I was an arborists at one time.
If you can't hang a 1/2 ton pick up from it, don't anchor to it.
You arborist get away with everything when it comes to OSHA.
