digital timer question

Let me start off by saying I feel like a dumb @$$ right now. I have been dealing with the biggest brain fart. I just build a new box for a feeder timer. I'm using the BA Products digital timer. Both the motor leads and the battery leads have the flat spade connectors. Heres my silly question... Which ones go to the battery and which go to the motor??? Black/ red and blue/ white. I didnt want to just try it first cuz I was scared I would fry my timer.

I will tell you one thing.....never hook up a 6 volt run digital camera to a 12v battery

Wont hurt if you hook them up backwards, on mine the motor wouldnt turn.
