PO Box fee increases

Anyone else notice a huge fee increase for your P.O. Box this year?

In 6 years, mine has more than doubled. Up 26% this year.

As a practical matter, wouldn't the postal service want to encourage postal box use because it's much easier and less expensive to deliver everyone's mail to a central location versus delivery to every address? Of course that's logical and logic doesn't apply here.

I'd cancel my mailbox service if I could. Nothing but junk. I can't imagine paying to get junk mail or driving to the post office to get it.

typical PO ... price increases (stamps, boxes, mediocre service, etc.)
for junk mail and 'getting worse' service.

Coworker's wife just retired from the USPS after 30 + years. The horror stories he tells me makes me wonder how we even get mail.
