My dad hunted on it for a couple of years. It was ok not many rules and a lot of people. I think some of those members pretty much live on the place.Comment

I am not any more. But my kids grew up on that place. Hunting was typical East Texas Club hunting. The deer are there but gets lots of pressure. But the family atmosphere can not be beat! When my daughter Macie had a accident and was in Memorial Children’s Hospital, she had 20+ members show up at her room to see her. I still talk to several members.Comment

We have a pasture rider on our lease. He is supposed to ride the lease daily and check gates, ride the camp grounds, look for trespassers, report anything suspicious, etc.
Ours mostly checks gates and traps hogs to sell. LOL!
I heard Camden is not nearly as good as it once was. That's just from talking to folks at various feed stores in the area.Comment

I’m friends with the pasture riders of the Camden Hunting Club…. they live just down the way from my place in Barnum. Good guys. I was just doing the roadside chat with one of them the other day. He said they had a good season this year in regards to members and minimal drama. deer total was down a little bit but I think that might be overall in East Texas.Comment

Did you end up getting on Camden hunting club? If so, How is it? I filled out the information last night on their website. I have a feeling there wont be openings this upcoming season.
