Our daughter is in Nashville, last night she was calling saying there were tornados on the way towards them. Then sometime around 3:00 AM this morning, she called saying there were tornado sirens going off all over the place. We think she should be pretty safe, where she is.

Yeah, our daughter is in the down town area. They definitely had her scared. Have not heard from her this morning, but I am pretty sure she is ok. The building she is in, in a very strong concrete building, she decided to get in the bottom of the stairwell. I was thinking the bottom of the parking garage, but then she came up with the stairwell, we decided that was a better idea. She has a lot of glass on the only exterior wall of her apartment. So I told her to not stay in the living room or bedroom during the storm. Her fist idea was the bathroom. I liked the idea of her being surrounded by a lot of concrete, over glass and or one wooden wall.

Hopefully your daughter is safe. I have not heard what actually happened in Nashville last night, all we know at this point is that tornado sirens were going off. Then in that news report, there was one tiny blurp about storms in Nashville.

Nashville missed the [emoji946] based on what I am seeing. Our daughter is here for holiday season but says she was getting messages like crazy on her phone. Glad your daughter kept her head as that time in the morning can be crazy hard to function.

Thanks for the info, the only thing I can find about Nashville weather, is that the airport saw 78 mph winds. Glad to hear your daughter is safe. Our daughter is a nurse at Vanderbilt hospital there in Nashville, she just started there in July. She works the night shift, on the days she works. She was off last night, so she was awake and quite alert, she had been calling and sending messages before the storm hit. She had been keeping us awake, we were getting a bit irritated with her, before she called about the tornado sirens.

My daughter also lives in downtown Nashville. They are good to go. The last one tore up their neighborhood pretty good. Only knocked down parts of their fence. We visited a couple of months after it went thru and there was destruction all around them.

Thanks, that’s what it seems like with the little I am finding. Why is it so many females think they want to be in Nashville? I did not see anything there that would make me have any desire to live there.

We were on the road last night and my wife was engrossed in it, keeping us updated. Horrific event to say the least...we are praying for all who went through it and will be dealing with the after effects

Prayers sent for those in need. I’ve been to several over the years. Some crazy stuff Mother Nature fished out.
