One thing about the C5 is it uses a serial bus system for the electronics and when it goes everything goes haywire also the grounding points have issues as well. I would look at the C6 or a C7 if possible.

Name one car after 1998 that doesn't..... literally makes an easier path for diagnosis for educated individuals

Yea just like most other modern electronics... they use a Universal Serial Bus structure =USB...

All the improvements on the C5 were made by 03 & 04. Only problem I had was a window elevator and changed it out.... You can find anything you want about vette's on the corvetteforum.com , including for sale.

My wife always wanted a red vette. it cost me two. Got her the first one for her 40th birthday. I promptly totaled it for her. Within a week I had her another one. The second one was better....ZO6

After about 7 years of owning the "garage pet" - put 2300 miles on it in 7 years we sold it. Told her it was now my time. Always wanted a jeep wrangler for hunting. Got one!!!
