no more bucks on cameras deep south Texas

The bucks that were coming to feeders and cameras stopped coming. Is it time for the big cacaiste to come out? cacaiste slang for monster buck. Anyone else have a report?

Pressure is really low and its warming. This weekend looks good with a mild front bringing cooler weather and a pressure spike. At least that's the positive outlook I have since I will be hunting Fri-Sunday.

I didn't think folks named NoBait used feeders. Buchs are regrouping in summer range now across much of east tx.

Most of our cameras are blowin' up right now... new bucks starting to show up... couple bigguns already in the books... If I wanted to hunt a big south Texas buck during the rut, I'd plan to hunt the week before Christmas through New Year. That has been historically our best period of strong rut activity...

I hunt outside Santa Monica and watched an 8 chasing a doe on Monday so definitely getting ready to start.

dude you are not lying! I was going to text you to check your movement. Not much on cameras at all except pinche' javelinas. I'll be down Dec 17-21. Need a hard freeze between now and then to kill off the greenest brush I've ever seen in mid-Dec!!

Bucks are to busy looking for booty right now. They will be hitting feeders hard once there done.
