Just curious as I didn’t follow him this year, but how did Jake Majors work out this year at Texas? Started most of the year at center, right? My middle son was a big Jake fan when he was in high school.

Jake did pretty good. He’s still young. He graded out good not great but center is incredibly difficult. I bet he excels next season.

I believe MGK suffered a torn ACL in his final HS game, so he won't play in 2022.

Aggie class is nuts. Aggie is staring 5 losses right in the ***, no DC, and honestly has never won ****. Texas has been soaking in a pot of suck for over ten years, just won 5 games and lost to Kansas yet landed a top 5 class and probably aren’t done. NIL is a game changer for the big boys. Hopefully this translates to the field.

Like I said, recruiting rankings don’t mean squat if you don’t coach them up, get a few breaks and do it years on end. Look at historical rankings. USC has been top ten or around it for ten years and no playoff. UT same. It’s freaking hard.
So I would caution everyone….

It is an historic class for the Ags (and should still get better), but it remains to be seen if it will even outpace two league (and one division) foes. Even if, it would break a streak of 11 consecutive years where one or the other, Bama or Georgia, has signed the nation's top class. Don't forget, Bama signed the all time Composite class in 2020.

It should, however, put them in better position to compete with those two programs (and a few others) for on field supremacy.
