Thanks guys. I know in my heart I did the right thing calling in the dogs and everything worked out. I couldn't be happier. I won't lie I still feel a little silly that the deer was almost in sight of where he bedded the last time though. A quick peek over the grass would have done it. But, I would rather feel silly with a deer in the cooler than go look and have the deer run a mile for only the buzzards to find...
