Anybody with FFL is scared to act for fear of jail and losing FFL.

Splitfinger… Build your own and dont trapse where the Federales roam.

Ive a contractor who built his own suppressor 95% from items bought at Home Depot…heavier than sin but still…homemade and it suppresses.

    Good luck to your contractor.

There has not been a request for opinion submitted by the Texas AG and I’m pretty sure HD doesn’t source any/all materials from Texas.

HEB carries water bottles, paper towels, and duct tape.

I reckon I missed where the HB 957 potentially says all materials must be sourced exclusively from Tejas.

Quoted directly from the link you posted.

Essentially, Texas is now saying that Texas-sourced raw materials needed to build a suppressor are not subject to federal regulation under interstate commerce because nothing is leaving the state. Therefore, completed suppressors made from Texas-sourced materials are not subject to the commerce clause.

I also ordered the adapter that I can put on my 5.56 that will allow the suppressor to be used on it as well.

Yea but that company doesn’t have all good reviews. Trust me, 8 months in they still haven’t gotten their crap together and my paperwork still isn’t submitted. I’ve had 2 cans in less time and my wait isn’t started. If it’s ever completed it will be my last with them.

Kansas passed basically the same law Texas did a few years ago. A friend of a friend is still in prison over it.

The ATF didn’t care about Kansas law. I think he is supposed to get out in February. The Texas law is pure BS.

It’s no different than a 5’6” 130lb dude telling everyone in a bar that if anyone looks at his wife he’ll beat their asp. The 6’7” 350lb dude in the back will take her home and wreck her….and there isn’t anything the little dude will be able to do about it.
