    KDF ammo out of Seguin.

Picked up this box at a garage sale for cheap. Should I collect it or shoot it? Called them up and said they haven’t loaded ammo in 15-20 years?

Sell it with gun. It’s not a collective, maybe a novelty to someone, but not you or you wouldn’t be asking.

KDF, was created after Kleinguenter went out of business. Kleinguenthers do have a following of people who are willing to pay big money for them, more so for some than others, naturally.

I don't remember exactly who started KDF, I know Kleinguenther who started that company, died some years ago. KDF, has made some nice rifles over the years. My brother used to have a Kleinguenther, my mother's ex husband had a pair of matching KDF rifles built buy them, one in 7mm Rem. Mag, one in 300 Win. Mag., back in the 90s. That was the only time I have been in KDF, was when those rifles were built. They do some good work.

I never knew they sold any ammo. Being KDF ammo, it will never have the value of products with the Kleinguenther name on it. I don't think Kleinguenther, ever sold any ammo, but then I did not know KDF did.

I’d be interested in buying I collect ammo and have several KDF rifles and Kleinguenther rifles. My dad was good friends with Phil who owned KDF.

I interviewed for a quality assurance job with them back in the 80s when the oilfield was back and forth. As part of the process they took me to their range and let me shoot a 300 win mag to demonstrate the muzzle brake they were manufacturing. We decided not to relocate.

                  Cool find.
