No socks. But then once it gets cold enough to need long pants and socks I don't usually wear them anymore except just around the house.

I wrap the socks around the soles so I can get the best of both worlds.

I bought a pair to take on a backpacking trip as my camp shoes when we were done hiking for the day. They are really light weight which is the primary reason I bought them. Now they are my go to house shoes. I love that you can throw them in the washing machine when they get dirty.
