Good weekend with dad-with an Axis down

Had a great weekend with my dad last weekend. He was recently diagnosed with early stages of Parkinson’s, so spending time with him is really special.

We have some family land over near Kerrville that has become overrun with Axis, not a bad problem.

Saturday evening this guy gave me a 20 yard shot, and the Gravedigger broad head left a hell of a blood trail. He went 40 yards and piled up. Axis back straps for my pops, and I’ll take the steaks! Can’t wait to get back out there with him!
