Helping Out a Needy Employee - Used Car

Anyone have anything for sale that is safe and mostly reliable for 5k or less? Don't care if it's high mileage base model small/old car. Just something that's reliable to help get a needy employee to and from work. She just totaled current vehicle, commutes about 40 mi round trip each day. Has a mild handicap and is raising 15 yr old daughter. Very reliable. Lives in subsidized housing. Works about 50 hrs a week in an entry level job (because that's her capability). Looking to give back.

Anyone help me source some transport for her here at the holidays?

Thank you. If anyone has a lead on something let me know. I have a truck and trailer and can come get it or could fly and drive back or send other employees to get it.

Just saw a 2006 dodge 2wd with 210k miles posted for 23k.

I know there's good vehicles in your range but its probably gonna be a headache to sift through all the crazy ads.
