Deer lease cost

I normally hunt small tracks under 50 Acers cause I can afford to lease the
Place alone I pay 2500 a year

Was wondering what 4 guys with 2500 each
Enough money

What should I expect for that price

Just depends on what you are looking for. We have 10 paid hunters on our place and pay $3500, but includes corn, protein, all camp supplies and a camp house.

I agree with both of them. It’s sad to say but, be careful if you find a place that’s less than that. There’s a good chance it’s not worth it. But, it seems as though $2500 and up is about what you will see everywhere. Good Luck

$10,000 can get you a pretty decent place. The problem is going to be finding it. 4 hunters will need a minimum of 600 acres and that on the bottom end of the size scale. 800+ would be better.. Just my opinion.

Not true. In really good areas 4 bow hunters would do ok on far less. I had a 13 acre place that turned into a 7 acre place and we hunted 2 guys on it and did just fine. Granted it wasn't worth $2500 each LOL But managed a couple nice bucks in 3 years.

I have 587 acres and if you only had 4 hunters here they'd have to shoot 8 doe and 4 bucks each at the minimum on a bad year per biologist. Good year we get over 60 tags. I very highly doubt 4 hunters would kill that many.

My lease is a few miles from Hamilton pool. Little over 400 ac and it’s 1870 a year.
Seems these days a lease comes with the requirement to feed wild animals year round so that 2500 likely won’t remain 2500.
