I once shot one like this, walked down to get her and the other does were looking at me as if to say "thank you" Ventilate!

If I had one like that, I would probably take a rifle with me to the blind next time I go. Just in case she is out of bow range. No ifs, buts, or maybes.

She’s the first to die where I hunt. Fawns don’t need their Momma this late in the year.

This. I've had a couple hunting various places that seemed in a constant state of ticked off but they quickly got the air let out of them at the first opportunity
