My understanding if you build your camaro on the chevy website the options chosen will dictate if you get a 1ss vs 2ss...I also believe you can get the 1LE option on either but you must opt for the MRC to be able to add the 1LE package. I'm not sure what all the 1LE package adds over the MRC in regards to suspension & may just be better tires and/or the black hood??

The MRC in the ZL1 was amazing...tour was quite comfortable for a full blown race ready car & you could run over a dime in track mode & feel it.

I can tell you if the car has a sunroof you will lose the lines of the reverse mohawk roofline & lose some head room.

The problem is you can't get a base Corvette for 62k. A few guys I race with have them, they paid in one case 20k over sticker, and it took 6 months to show up.

And they are ugly as sin LOL

Yup. You can get a C7 for that and it will do way better on a track and look better to boot. Everyone has a Camaro and a Challenger.

I tried to like the vette & looked at the 17 Z06 but the car just isn't for me...you also get a pretty decent break on Ins when you have a backseat (albeit superficial in a camaro) With the back seat folded you actually have a lot storage for such a small vehicle. I could haul multiple packaged long guns to ship off. I would LOVE to take a C8 around the block.

For 2020 GM sold around 20k vettes & only 30k camaros (no official ZL1 totals I could find but probly only 2-3k) Over 50k Challengers & Ford sold over 60k mustangs.

Coach, if you can swing a used ZL1 do it...that LT4 is a lot of fun. Might be a bit too much for the kiddos. The nannies work really well to keep the rear end from getting away but the speed can sneak up on you quick. Plus, you just don't see many & can smoke the regular vettes..

OP, take a look at Texas Hot Rides. I bought my last car from them. Their prices weren't nuts, and they had some pretty unique cars come through. When I picked mine up, they had 6 ZL1's there. And numerous other V8 Camaro's.

As mentioned earlier, no Vette for me. I will keep my reasons to myself, as not to offend anyone on here.

If you can find a base Corvette for $62k, buy two of them.

I am sticking with the Camaro. Better car in my opinion and looks a hell of a lot better.
