    Prince of Poachers

The book is well worth a read. Based on the real life of Charles Beaty as he got away with poaching world class whitetails on the king and Kenedy ranches for over 20 years.

And he's batsh#t crazy if you listen to some of the podcasts he's one about skin diseases he has and voodoo that he claims has healed him. I'll be honest I think he's a liar and very good storyteller.

I had my doubts too but he has a bunch of pictures of him in the brush with a bunch of nice deer. He may embellish on some of the stories, but he’s got a lot of bone on the wall. Interesting cat for sure. I just ordered his buddy, Pat Lane’s book.
Discover Pat's captivating tales of adventure, resilience, and the history of South Texas through stories that keep these rich traditions alive.

Yes. It’s a very interested read. If even half of the stories are true then that guy is definitely bat sh** cray

Your last sentence pretty much describes most poachers. They love to embellish. In fact most would walk a mile to tell a lie than stand right where they are and tell the truth.

I also read it. I agree he is bat**** crazy and probably full of it sometimes. I do think some of its true. He's fascinating to listen to though, especially when he tells the bagged the double drop tine buck while in is sleeping bag![emoji1787] or his close encounters with being caught
