    RV Propane gas detector question.

I have a new but used 2007 Keystone RV. Here lately the Propane detector goes off forever when I disconnect power. Is this the norm or is the sensor at its end of life? Our property doesn't have power so we are on a generator. Once we power up the generator after a few minutes the sensor light turns green and goes silent.

If it has a battery backup it may be telling you the battery is dead.

Well past end of life. I believe they only have a 5-7 year service life.

I replaced mine about 4 months ago.
