    Hollow composite rifle stock

What would you use to fill a hollow composite rifle stock? Don’t really need much weight

    I’ve looked at those

    Epoxy
Rockite. Seems like it might be to heavy
    Molding silicone

    ???

I put some some BBs in a sock and put inside of my kids composite stock to get the weight right. Worked well enough I never changed it.

I saw where one person epoxied ball bearings into the stock

Any time I've got a space to fill for most anything, it's Great Stuff expanding foam.

I used packing peanuts on my Ruger American. Seems to work well enough.

Are you wanting to fill to add weight, increase strength, reduce flex, or what? That may make a difference in what you decide to use.

increase strength, reduce flex and hollow sound. Not sure I want to use spray foam. Not sure it would not break down.

It's a 300 blackout so does not need any more weight to counter recoil.

How much volume are you talking about? Two-part epoxy sounds like what you're needing, but could add too much weight if it's a bunch of volume

I modified a Savage rifle for my kids to shoot. I wanted to add weight to reduce recoil so I went with silicone. It worked out perfect.

Empty stock hold about 410 ML

I was thinking about dragon skin. That is a 2 part silicone rubber.

Don’t pour that much epoxy in their. It will melt your stock when it starts crosslinking. I’d fill it with silicone.

Well although you should be able to make some improvement with some sort of fill, based on my experience I don’t think you will ever be able to take all of the flex out of a plastic stock with fill. Something like epoxy or bondo might be your best bet, but will certainly add a lot of weight. I would urge you to consider a good aftermarket stock.
