Deer hide on ice, how long do I have?

Have a youth hunter that shot a doe in the mountains last night we want to have tanned, but are a considerable drive from nearest taxidermist. We cooled the hide down to air last night when is was in the 30s then bagged and placed in ice with the bag open to allow for air movement. How long do I have before it starts to slip?

On ice, weeks... be good if you had kept it dry, but it will still be OK. Would bag it so it is not floating in the water... Also be good if you did have time/place to take it out, stretch it out and let it dry, then bag and repack in ice...
