Rut is over here on the coast. Bucks and does are back to feeding together again with no chasing. I’m Ready to get back to Kerrville next weekend.

I can tell you don’t hunt near me. Last week of October is always rut and prime hunting

Its all relative - rut is and has been over in Brazoria county.

Same for me in Gillespie county. The rut everyone talks about in Late november is the second go round.

The rut goes on for an extended period, what I refer to as the "rut" is when the highest percentage of buck are chasing. My favorite time of the season!!!

Nope....Its actual rut. Drove up on a mature 8pt taking care of business at our place on Tuesday this week.

Its certainly early but its the real deal.
