Fixing to replace my boards . Would y’all go with treated lumber ? Or milled creosote telephone poles? I can get the creosote for about 440 bucks . Treated bout 360 .

It used to be cheaper than treated lumber, about ten years ago. About four or five years ago, it was the same price.
The price jump on milled creosote may be due to lack of old telephone poles, but I don't know.
So creosote is nasty stuff. We move it on our ships. The regulations have changed and creosote has been reclassified and requires specialty ships to move it which has dramatically increased the price. It’s a pain in the azz to handle.
