which do yall prefer DD is $.50 more a bag so not worried about cost. Ours will eat any protein just didnt know if anyone switched and whats the thought.

i will admit, the peanut aspect of DD leads me to believe that it would attract even more attention than plain protein pellets.

are you getting it in terrell, out on 80? i got some out there a few years ago and they ate it just fine.

We have been getting hammered this year on the cotton seed nd protein. We havent had much rain in 4 months.

The protein conversation is just like the which cartridge, which truck, which broadhead, etc. people are going to recommend whichever one they are using. Even if they don’t have experience with the other brands.

For me personally, we feed DD year round and our results have been great. We have tried other brands including Antlermax and they are all great feeds, but the consumption rate is without question higher with DD. I am not a brand “fanboy” on anything. I just use what works. So my recommendation, based on my experience and not on advertisements and social media… is that if cost are relatively the same, DD is the way to go.

DD is supposed to be the best they say . We fed antler max in Oklahoma I don’t know if it really helped the Horns are not the deer looked healthy. On the new place in Coleman we have been feeding antlers plus . But are really considered starting to feed the DD since a lot more people are carrying it now .

I have used several different brands over the years and all do the job. The DD does have a higher consumption rate, we currently make a mix with it and other feed.
