The whole prison Justice thing with inmates not tolerating child abusers is pretty much an urban legend. Been doing this for 29 years and haven't really seen any of that. A story or two makes the news every now and then but it's generally an inmate that has a problem with another inmate for normal inmate crap... Not because of the inmate's charge dealing with young kids.

Well that sucks. However- for some reason I feel this will be one of those one or two exceptions and he will get it. Unless he goes to the mental facility for life.

Not arguing, just a question. Do you think that it depends the prison? I worked with a jail bird for a long time that would swear the opposite. He said during his first prison sentence, people were killed all the time & that rapist/molesters usually lasted a week or less. But, in his second prison sentence in a different state, he said nobody even got in fist fights.

As for the boys. I pray that they get the professional help they desperately need to help them attempt to lead a long and prosperous life. I pray that they find a home(s) with parents that will love, protect and give them the tools they will need in life.

Thats a lot to have endured at such young ages and I hope its not to late for the oldest to have a normal life....but I have a feeling the irreversible damage has been done.

All y'all's hearts are in the right place but the process has to play out properly. There's a lot of things that go into a case involving a child, especially when there's skeletal remains that have to be examined and children that have to be forensically interviewed by specialist, not just a homicide investigator. Be watching the news later today.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I know lots of people at that office that pour their souls into their work. They are some of the most intelligent and talented folks I know. They could easily leave the office and make double to triple their salaries with much less stress. They stay because they value doing the right thing and advocating for victims.

That's a fact in any public job nowdays...

This has been the biggest take home for me on this. I know people from over in that area and I see it all the time. Nobody really says "Howdy" anymore or checks on one another. And I'm guilty of it just as much as other people.
