He's essentially a .500 ball coach.....

Exactly. That's where the hesitation comes in. Just don't think he's the guy to get the revitalization going. Seems like it would be more mediocre football bc that 8-0 record the media is harping over is very very deceiving.

It's a business move. Would be going from non Power 5 to Power 5 school and making more money. Kind of the name of the game. However I do think i like some other names . I like Dykes but not sure if he's the guy to relight the fires and get it going.

I see Dykes using it to get a raise, but I do not see him taking the Tech job. He has a good thing going in Dallas.

There is going to be a lot of moving parts on the coaching front this year and it is going to be fantastic to follow. The dominions of coaching changes and the business side of sports is my favorite to follow.

LSU still sucks, lol.

Wont get any better either, these are players so say "hurt" not coming back this year.

Don't be so sure, No buy out, who does that any more. LSU's a better job, more money, only P5 game is the state, he can drive to that multi million dollar ranch you keep talking about. Ya'll lured him away from Florida State so it can be done. LSU 2 years removed from a NC, a&m 82 years removed from last NC. I can't see any negatives.
