Texags has been telling me for the last 4 years that UT’s OL and DL recruiting hasn’t kept pace and there is very little depth. I tried telling some of y’all this but was told it was fake news. I guess Texags really does know something. [emoji23]

The OL at Texas has had something like 8 coaches in 10 years. That’s a problem trying to build / recruit an OL. It’s the hardest position to recruit and project. I think the lack of a plan has killed the unit.

The DL has some players and depth but for some reason (maybe scheme or calls) hasn’t been able to get pressure this year.

Texas has put some good players in the NFL on the OL / DL the last couple of years.

If they are the problem a rebuild of both sides of the line is 3-5 years. Maybe a little faster with the transfer portal - but then you have to trapdoor people.

A high end quarterback recruit could also bring a few solid people with him
