The two yearling bucks were the only deer I saw this evening. It was great to be back in a tree !!!

Sit #2 for 2021 season !!

I am at the Terrace, but I am in my tree saddle instead of the lock on.

Cut beans to my left, standing corn in front of me, across the creek cut beans to my right. My neighbor cut the beans to my right last night. When I walked in I saw a LOT of beans on the ground which is good. There is also a huge scrape on the other side of the tree with yellow leaves (last picture).

It is 54 degrees and sprinkling rain

Pretty 2.5 year old 8 point came out of the standing corn and went to the scrape. He was at about 17 yards for 10 minutes. He is bedded down on the terrace about 50 yards from me.

I ended up seeing one more buck right at last light. I have seen 6 bucks in two sits plus the buck I saw Wednesday while checking out the bean field across the road. I haven't seen a doe while hunting yet. You have to look close but there are two bucks in one of my new food plots. One is behind the two small trees in the center of the picture. Another one has his head down at the right side of the picture. Phone camera, zoom and low light equals blurry pictures.

The buck that was under my tree tonight had a strange colored coat. His front shoulders and neck was much darker than the rest of his body. Pretty deer.
