I agree, my general rule of thumb is 1 per 500 acres for rifle
I could manage 1 per 200 for bow

I hunt south of Christoval on a place that is nearly 3,000 acres w/10 guys. Our stands are all about 1000 yards apart (give or take). We don't move stands much.

Guess your not friends with these guys to have a man to man conversation regarding the matter?

You couldn’t pay me to hunt with with people like that. It sounds like you need to look for another place to hunt to me but I hear leases are apparently hard to come by to so do what feels right.

For 1500 acres the place only needs 3 hunters on it IMO for rifle hunting but it sounds like you might have way more than that,, good luck either way buddy..

We were friendly til the first time they moved a stand ~400 yds from my setup and have their feeder directly between my stand and his. There is brush and slight elevation change so I can't wave to him, but we did have a difference of opinion about it. I fear the next "conversation" I would have with them would result in my really needing a lease.
I'm just stuck on how far to push it, but I'm not sure I'm the bad guy here and the opinions so far seem to concur.

He is twice to close, and a feeder in-between you are definitely not in the wrong.
