    ATV Cover - Recommendations?

I recently acquired an older ATV and I plan to leave it at my small deer lease during the season. We do not have any structural cover or a dry place to put anything. I thought about buying a cover for it, one of those that is somewhat formfitting. The goal is to keep rain and weather off of it as much as possible.

Looking on Amazon, most seem to be thin, cheaper material and isn't waterproof, at least per the reviews.

Anyone have/use something like this? Recommendations?

Don't put an atv cover on it.....you'll create a mouse housing complex!

T-posts, 2x4's, sheet metal and tie-wire is a better option.

I use Harbor freight tarps and have no issues. Replace them every few months, but at $2-4, not a big expense. Keeps them pretty dry, depending on the size u purchase.

My 4 wheeler stays at the lease just sitting under a carport. 1-2 times a year I take the panels off and using zip ties, attach poison in a bunch of places near the wiring. So far they have preferred the poison to the wiring. Don't remember the brand of poison but it's those green cubes with a hole through them

I have had to fix a couple of friends ATV's from mice chewing the wires when left out with a tarp, and bought one super cheap because of the same thing. I recommend what Traildust said to do and make a small shelter of some sort.

I bought the cover from Cabela's and have used it for 2 years. I only leave my ATV at the lease from October to December. Also plugged in to a trickle charger. Never an issue with mice.

If rats and mice are not a problem, I bought a ATV cover from Wal-Mart, I think it's called Never Wet. It's been a pretty good cover.

But if you do have problems with rats and mice, you might find a crate or container to store it in. I have seen companies selling large shipping crates on market place.
