We are back at it this evening.

Got everyone settled in and ready to go.

We got some family members in the woods this evening!

Dad is back in my river stand. He is set on killing the Old 10 that is showing up.
Kade and my niece, Kadee Jo are in my big box stand.
Kade’s wife, Kerri, is in Kade’s ridge stand.
I’m sitting in Talen’s stand not far from our camp. It over looks a hard wood bottom as pretty as you have ever seen.
Lots of scrapes and rubs spotted walking in.

Wind isn’t ideal, but not horrible either. Batteries needed changed in the camera and it’s Dillon blind so I can box myself in and enjoy the Sauna like temps.

We also have a very close friend, Brit, that just started Bow hunting this year, set up in a climber over some corn and rice bran that Does have been hitting on the regular.

Good chance something my die tonight. We’ll see.

      Stay tuned...

I got a pile of wood ducks in the slough behind me.

And I’m sweating like Joe Biden in a spelling B contest.

              Well this is a first!

Feeder sounded off and these squealers swarmed it.
Here I am worried about hogs eating all my corn.

                  Ducks taste good too.

Those woodducks remind me of the tree ducks (whistling ducks) I had landing at the house and eating all the corn the last 3 years.

Did I mention how much I hate hogs?

Kade ended up shooting a hog right at dark too.

Very little movement this evening. Warm weather has most of our deer moving at night.

Gonna be a minute before a bring this thread back to the top. I head back to work Tuesday and I’m gonna spend the next 2 days getting all my loose ends tightened up.

I had an absolute blast hunting with my dad this week. We got some good quality time together. He heads back to work tomorrow and I’m not looking forward to it but glad I got the time with him that I did.

Really appreciate everyone following along and positive feedback.

I head to Illinois on November 8-12 then to Kansas Nov 15-22. I’ll have another live hunt for those trips.

                            To be continued...

Biggest Buck to date for my Dad. I was very blessed to be sitting with him in 2018 when he killed his biggest buck.
And Blessed to be able to do it again today.

There was high fives, hugs and lots of tears this morning after the shot and after the recovery.

I absolutely love getting to hunt with my dad!!!
