What's good, durable, and cheap? These are for 5yo and a 7yo.

I would imagine just about any aluminum shaft would be OK for them--1816, etc. Check out ebay for good prices or the AT classifieds as well.

Ive never purchased but inherited a crap ton of Carbon Express. The kiddos hit all kinds of things beside the target with them. They take after theyre ol man pretty good. Should be able to find them decently cheap from a box store.

I've been the aluminum route with my daughter. She bent all six in the first week. Those from Sheels are kind of pricey imo. I'll find something I'm sure. Only need bare shafts.

My kids shot the cheapest carbons on Amazon for a few years, Tiger Archery. Even killed a deer with one.
