    How Cold?

I am camping at the farm this year for deer season. While sleeping, I will run a space heater with a generator, but I'm wondering what to do with my dog while I'm in the stand. I was thinking a blanket on his bed will provide plenty of warmth. What are your thoughts?

Unless it’s wet weather conditions along with cold I wouldn’t worry about the dog in Texas weather….

What breed is your dog? I have a Brittney and she handles cold weather no problem.

I have a Catahoula. What about the early season? I figured 90 degrees with a water bowl and some airflow will be fine.

Yeah water should be sufficient, unless its gets subfreezing for long periods of time i wouldn't worry about the cold either. Just give it a place to lay down thats off the direct ground and all should be fine

Dogs handle the cold much better than the heat. It would be nice if it had access to a sunny spot on those cold days.
