Have seen deer every sit. Usually from when feeder runs till dark or till about 10ish in the morning being the latest. Small bucks and young does. BUT, had an old target buck on camera around 4pm at one feeder. So me and boy tried to sneak in and had him already in the feeder today @ 2:30pm.

I’m in a tree in Magnolia. Windy and hot, but I’m getting my therapy done in a tree.

I have a back up plan for after this sit. I brought along my calls and thermal for after dark. So either was it’s going to be a good outing.

The mornings were not bad in the Hill Country opening weekend.....afternoon hunt was brutal. Looks like the temps are a bit higher this weekend. Enjoy the hunt though.

Son and I are sitting in the back of our little home place. First sit for us. Already saw several bucks on the neighbors 12 ac. Hopefully just before dark they come here and my son gets his first shot with a bow
