I was in a brush blind in DeWitt County. Feeder didn’t throw. Checked the cam and it hasn’t worked since Wednesday. Guess I’ll fix that later after we do my son’s birthday party today and hunt another setup the rest of the weekend.

In a tree in Leon county. Morning sure started off rough.
Got parked and was grabbing my gear and couldn’t find my release. Luckily I bought a back up one last year on clearance but still haven’t tried it out.
Start climbing up my stand and my bow comes out of its sling and hits the ground. Doesn’t seem to be any damage, but sights my be off. I’ll check them later.
One of those mornings that makes you feel like a dumbass all around.

Sitting in a chair in the bushes Sour lake area.Saw a big wide six pt walking in.Nice and cool in SETX this morning but heat and humidity are about an hour away.It really is a beautiful morning.Not many birds active but the squirrels sure are busy.Comment
