    Pop Up Blind Question

Could probably do some research here and find out, but for those that use a pop up situated on a wooden platform, how do you attach the pop up to the platform?

I’ve always used deck screws and fender washers through the loops

This. On blinds that have flaps on the bottom, I screw a board over it to the deck or side of the deck to hold it down.

Like jerp i use deck screws and washers and then make sure to guy out the hub lines pretty good or you'll end up collapsing the blind in the first decent storm.

I stopped using a pop up when every time I went to go hunt it was collapsed because of the wind at the new place. But I like the option with the 2x4 over the flap idea, it would help keep scent down as well.

Great idea on a board over the flap. I have mentioned this before but I always make a trap door in the floor and put ladder underneath. Much safer and quiter gettingvin and out.

Or buy a popup that doesnt have a zipper door.

This is a great question, just bought two and plan to put on short platforms for snake purposes. (been there, done that). i was debating on whether to make it a bit bigger and board the flaps horizontal on top of platform or make exact size and board the flaps (hanging down) vertical on the sides of the frame. The first options seem like it could have a pooling water problem - thoughts?
