Good luck today and keep up the positive attitude. It really is refreshing to see people upbeat about seemingly everything!

Update: I go to the hand specialist Wednesday. I was hopeful that they could save my finger tip, but now I don’t think that’s a possibility. I’m pretty certain I’ll lose the majority of my figure tip.
The skin fell off exposing the dead tissue. Within a couple hours, it was hard as a rock.
Here’s what it looks like now:
A few days ago when it starting shedding:
Here’s part of the finger tip that’s completely dead:
No matter what happens, I still give God the glory. There’s plenty folks far off worse than I am.
Hoping I can be able to hunt this year.

The hand surgeon that’s doing the amputation is doing a clinical write-up of this case that I agreed to. He researched this and found this case to strangely unique.
Hopefully, other doctors can read up on this and educate themselves so this mistake don’t happen again.
I’m in good spirits. The going away/early retirement party was pretty awesome! My team at work is composed of about 90% Marines. The rest are other vets, so you can kinda imagine how it went down. [emoji16]
I know something good will come out of this, I just can’t put my ‘finger’ on it. [emoji57]
But I’ll get a “grip” on it, so y’all don’t worry.
(Man, that was terrible.)

Perfect response! You da' man! You are right, junk happens. Too many lawsuits and too little forgiveness.

Just keep a focus on the Man Upstairs. And He will "point" you in the right direction.
The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

All I can say is, "man, you got the best attitude about this whole ordeal, than anyone I've ever seen compared to anyone who done been wronged". Bless you sir. I've seen some folks get so twisted over such little nonsense stuff, and you've just taken this in stride. If more people had your attitude and temperament, the world would definitely be a better place.
